Legends in a Bottle: Spring Release
The 2024 Elizabeth Rose Rosé: A Splash of Elegance and Fun
The 2024 Elizabeth Rose Rosé is a beautifully expressive wine, exuding elegance and vibrancy in every sip. Its pale blush hue hints at the freshness within, while delicate aromas of ripe raspberry, juicy watermelon, and wild strawberry intertwine with soft floral undertones and a playful touch of candied fruit. On the palate, lively acidity enhances the bright fruit character, leading to a crisp, refreshing finish that keeps you coming back for more.
Crafted with care, our Rosé is made from a balanced blend of three organically grown varietals: Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah. The Cinsault and Grenache, sourced from 13-year-old vines in our Rock Cairn Vineyard in Oakville, Napa Valley, contribute to the wine’s delicate fruit and floral notes. Meanwhile, our Syrah, thriving in Block House Vineyardin Yountville since 2003, adds depth and a silky texture. With certified organic farming practices, we ensure that every bottle of Elizabeth Rose Rosé reflects the highest quality fruit and our commitment to sustainability.
And if you’re in the mood for something extra fun, Jeff loves to create a “Lissyfizzy” with this Rosé—just add a splash of club soda or sparkling water for a lively, bubbly twist that enhances its bright fruit flavors. Whether enjoyed poolside, at a picnic, or as the star of your next brunch, this Rosé is pure sunshine in a glass. Bottled in January 2025 and set for release in April, the 2024 Elizabeth Rose Rosé is the perfect companion for warm afternoons, good company, and effortlessly elegant moments.
Vineyard Notes: This Rosé is a blend of three organically farmed varietals: Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah, all sourced from our Block House Vineyard in Yountville, Napa Valley. The Cinsault, a newer planting, is strategically located near the Napa River to benefit from its cooling influence, promoting balanced ripening and vibrant freshness. The Grenache and Syrah, from vines over 20 years old, contribute depth and complexity. Each varietal is carefully farmed and harvested at optimal ripeness to preserve bright acidity and aromatic intensity, ensuring a vibrant, fresh, and beautifully expressive Rosé.
