Harvest in Napa Valley is always a season of anticipation, hard work, and gratitude. For our family, 2025 marks not only a new vintage but also the continuation of 123 years of farming in Oakville and Yountville.
Our Sauvignon Blanc always comes in across three separate picks, a tradition that ensures depth, vibrancy, and complexity in the finished wine. This year’s MorgaenLee Sauvignon Blanc shows incredible promise—crisp citrus, tropical fruit, and bright minerality—all shaped by our family’s organic farming practices.
We’ve also welcomed Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for Elizabeth Rose Wines into the cellar. These wines represent the approachable elegance that has become a hallmark of Elizabeth Rose, crafted for everyday moments while carrying forward our family’s heritage.
This vintage is especially meaningful because it is our first harvest with winemaker Priyanka French. Priyanka brings a fresh perspective and expertise that pairs beautifully with the deep roots of our estate vineyards. Together, we are building on more than a century of stewardship while shaping the future of Ghost Block Estate Wines.
Each harvest reminds us of the same truth: wine begins in the vineyard, and every cluster carries the story of our land, our family, and Napa Valley itself. From George C. Yount’s early days at the Blockhouse to our own family’s 123-year journey, the 2025 harvest stands as a testament to both tradition and renewal.
