In 1877, the Oakville Winery achieved the distinction of becoming California’s 9th bonded winery. Today, this historic winery serves as the heart and home of our Napa Wine Company, where our family passionately crafts all of our organically-grown wines. We take great pride in being the sole remaining single-digit bonded winery in California, and our Oakville Winery wines stand as a testament to our rich history and heritage.

Guided by the expertise of Winemaker Lynn Watanabe, our Oakville Winery Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel are meticulously crafted, primarily sourced from our Pelissa Vineyard, which lies just behind our winery in the heart of the renowned Oakville AVA.

An exclusive wine by allocation only has been honored with the name “Bonded Winery 9” in homage to our historic establishment, Bonded Winery #9 (BW9). This exceptional wine reflects the essence of our heritage and the legacy of our winemaking tradition, celebrating the enduring history of our vineyard and our privileged place in the Napa Valley’s winemaking heritage.
